News Release Lawson Announces Delivery of Relief Supplies to Miyagi


TOKYO, JAPAN, 3 17, 2011

Status Report of Relief Supplies Delivery to the Miyagi Emergency Disaster Headquarters

LAWSON will send rice balls and bread manufactured in the Kansai and the Chubu regions to the government's Miyagi Emergency Disaster Headquarters tomorrow.
With the support from the Japan Air Self Defense Force (JASDF), our relief supplies will be shipped to the Fukushima Airport by the JASDF cargo plane.

  • Destination: Higashi-Matsushima City Government, Miyagi Pref.
  • Supplies: Rice balls 40,000, Bread 11,000
  • Delivery Route:
    Distribution Center in Itami, Hyogo pref. and Joyo, Kyoto pref.
    => JASDF Komaki Base => Fukushima Airport
    => Higashi-Matsushima City by trucks

First Delivery: To be arrived at noon, March 18, 2011.
