Lawson, Inc. (“Lawson”) announces that Lawson Bank, Inc. (“Lawson Bank”), a subsidiary of Lawson, today, applies for License of Banking Business to Japan’s Financial Services Agency (“FSA”) based on Article 4 of the Banking Act.
On the premise of obtaining the license, Lawson Bank is aiming to start services in autumn this year.
This application will not affect Lawson’s consolidated results for the fiscal year ending February 2019.
